Canton Soccer Club - Connecticut

The Farmington Valley League (FVL) fills the space between playing and not playing as children move out of the younger recreational programs. The FVL leagues consist of Canton teams along with neighboring towns within the Farmington Valley area. Age divisions are divided into the following groupings; U10 (U9-10), U12 (U11-U12), U15 (U14-U15). The two-year groupings allow children time to develop their game onto the larger dimensions of the field as they progress through age divisions. The lower time commitment for FVL compared to travel programs allows for dual sport participation and other activities while still providing an opportunity to play soccer. Typically the Rec team has one practice during the week, and one game on the weekend.
